My Objectives

My objective is to acquire a work placement as part of a strong workforce. Apart from wanting to learn how the integral aspects of a successful business are handled, I also want to broaden my knowledge and understanding of advertising, management and marketing.

Private tuition for A-level and GCSE students (mathematics and physics).

Teaching

I teach mathematics and physics to students at many different levels, ranging from year 3 to A-level at a supplementary college in North London (MTO College).

Sales, Allt i Gross, Gothenburg (Sweden)

Allt I Gross is cash and carry, which provides confectionary to over 70% of the off-licenses in Gothenburg. I learned how to deal with high demand, as most customers came at the same times during the morning. Apart from handling goods, I also handled finances and IT duties.

Volunteering

- I opened the “Music Production Society” in my first year of study. Apart from composing, and producing music, I also taught other members of the society how to use music production software, the equipment in a studio environment.

- I am currently working with the University radio (Quest) to develop and produce shows and music.

- Every year, during the month of March, the Persian New Year takes place. I am part of a cast that performs in the University of SOAS to celebrate this event. Along with performing in the event, I also co-organise aspects including location, audio/visual and web-casting the event, clothing, catering, marketing.

Research

- Wireless control of motor modules on a glider, that provides short-period, regenerative powered flight.

- Drag reduction techniques, through the streamlining of aerofoil structures.
